Strategic Sourcing Manager – Category Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Sourcing team in implementing strategies for vendor categories that are lower-risk, lower-spend, and less complex.

• Oversee sourcing requirements and procurement processes, which include option/cost assessments, contract drafting and revisions, and negotiations.

• Formulate negotiation tactics, oversee expenditure management, and strategize contract renewals, extensions, and modifications.

• Investigate sourcing strategy alternatives and aid in the execution of approved strategies.

• Create monthly, quarterly, and on-demand reports regarding vendor spending, contract terms, pricing, vendor performance, and associated analyses.

• Engage in sourcing and Finance policy oversight, process enhancements, contract audits, project management reporting, competitive sourcing events, and RFP submissions.

• Ensure data accuracy, usability, and insights within procurement and contract management systems.

• Lead or support financial evaluations and options analysis.

• Assist in the formulation and execution of the Sourcing systems roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or professional experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or strategic sourcing.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring a work visa or residency sponsorship.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to work efficiently in a matrix environment, collaborate effectively, and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Basic knowledge of contract drafting, redlining, and the sourcing process.

• Preferred experience with ERP financial systems, sourcing tools, contract lifecycle management systems, and/or similar systems.

• Previous project management experience is preferred.

• Potential pay range of $66,000.00–$106,000.00 based on experience and skills.
