Strategic Sourcing Lead, Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead indirect sourcing initiatives for Marketing concurrently, which includes developing effective sourcing strategies, enhancing strategic improvements, and achieving operational targets, savings objectives, and business strategies.

• Perform total cost modeling and sensitivity/scenario analysis to assist team members in understanding the trade-offs and advantages of various outcomes.

• Support the analysis and planning for different elements of indirect spend categories to guarantee operational success and outcomes.

• Utilize sourcing tools to aid departmental initiatives aimed at refining and enhancing procurement processes and policies.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with business stakeholders while providing regular updates on project statuses.

• Collaborate with various corporate functions (e.g., Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Legal, etc.) as part of your sourcing projects and related activities.

• Review, amend, and negotiate contract terms.

• Assist in the development and management of strategic and complex contract renewals.

• Participate in supplier relationship management activities (e.g., regular business reviews, vendor scorecard assessments, etc.).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing for Marketing, which encompasses Growth, Creative, Brand, Portfolio & Brand Strategy, Retention, Promotion, etc.

• Proven abilities in leading sourcing projects, negotiating and drafting contracts, and driving savings/value.

• Excellent relationship-building, verbal and written communication, interpersonal, motivational, and influencing skills; adept at coordinating across related disciplines and with key stakeholders.

• Experience in coordinating teams, gathering insights, and constructively challenging internal stakeholders' conventional thinking.

• Familiarity with multi-step strategic sourcing processes, sourcing tools, and strategies.
