This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the RFQ process for North America, which encompasses gathering requirements, communicating with suppliers, collecting bids, and conducting analysis.
• Ensure that RFQs are consistent with category strategies, cost objectives, and approved supplier lists.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of open purchase orders, ensuring precision, confirmations, and proactive resolution of issues.
• Track supplier acknowledgments, lead times, delivery dates, and discrepancies in quantity.
• Act as the main operational liaison for suppliers concerning RFQs and open orders.
• Report on supplier responsiveness, timely delivery, and accuracy of data.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval workflows, and audit standards.
• Introduce process enhancements to minimize cycle times and improve data accuracy.
• Take charge of developing and maintaining procurement dashboards (including RFQ cycle time, PO confirmations, supplier responsiveness, and management of past-due orders).
• Keep real-time visual boards for monitoring open order health, supplier performance, and risk indicators.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for late deliveries, missed confirmations, and delays in RFQs.
• Organize Kaizen events aimed at improving PO accuracy, supplier responsiveness, and reducing cycle times.
• Propel Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years in procurement or supply chain operations experience.
• Knowledge of MRP, planning parameters, and supply continuity risk management.
• Proficient in RFQ processes, cost analysis, and supplier management.
• Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems (such as SAP ECC/S4, Ariba).
• Preferred experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or consumer goods sectors.
• APICS – CPIM or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Understanding of should-cost modeling and cost engineering principles (preferred).
