Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the entirety of the procurement function for a fintech and cryptocurrency platform that operates numerous kiosks across various countries — devising strategies, managing vendor partnerships, overseeing budgets, and ensuring a seamless supply chain from purchase order to delivery.

• Formulating innovative, cost-efficient procurement strategies that align with the company's global operations and long-term growth goals.

• Identifying and engaging trustworthy suppliers and vendors — assessing options, fostering relationships, and guaranteeing access to high-quality, reliable supply partners for the business.

• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to obtain the most favorable commercial terms — achieving cost savings while maintaining quality and reliability.

• Evaluating existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing viability — pinpointing risks, highlighting gaps, and suggesting modifications that safeguard the business.

• Authorizing purchase orders and coordinating the delivery of goods and services — ensuring that every order is precise, timely, and meets operational requirements.

• Conducting risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements — analyzing supplier reliability, financial health, and compliance prior to making commitments.

• Managing the procurement budget and fostering a culture of long-term savings — monitoring expenditures, recognizing inefficiencies, and driving continuous improvement in procurement costs.

• Supervising and managing the IT systems that monitor shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods — ensuring data accuracy and operational transparency at all times.

• Compiling clear, precise procurement reports for management review — offering actionable insights on expenditures, supplier performance, and supply chain status.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in managing supply chain operations — with a history of achieving cost savings, establishing strong vendor relationships, and enhancing procurement processes.

• Comprehensive understanding of contract preparation and review, invoicing, and negotiation — you are skilled at interpreting contracts, identifying risks, and negotiating terms that safeguard the business.

• Experience with supply chain management software and tools — adept at navigating procurement systems and IT platforms that monitor inventory and shipments.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — especially Excel for budget tracking, reporting, and data analysis.

• Strong management and leadership abilities — capable of influencing cross-functional stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and promoting accountability without direct authority.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities — you adeptly recognize inefficiencies, evaluate risks, and make confident data-driven decisions.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple priorities concurrently in a dynamic, global environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English — you effectively present findings to both operational and executive stakeholders.
