This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Lead and manage vendor sourcing negotiations for projects and acquisitions.
• Conduct reviews, redlining, and negotiations of vendor contracts.
• Oversee vendor negotiations to ensure adherence to Finance requirements.
• Utilize legal expertise in contracts negotiated by the sourcing team.
• Collaborate with RSM leaders to clarify contract language and objectives.
• Mentor functional leaders on effective negotiation strategies.
• Provide assistance in interpreting contracts, particularly regarding termination clauses and performance matters.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing.
• A minimum of 3 years in project management.
• Proven experience in leading vendor agreement negotiations.
• Familiarity with information technology concepts.
• Understanding of privacy principles.
• Strong analytical and contract negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in price analysis and modeling techniques.
• Experience in contract redlining for effective review and negotiation of legal agreements.
• Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, and general word processing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Capability to engage effectively with all organizational levels.
