This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Formulate and manage the implementation of procurement strategies for projects.
• Establish strong relationships with BU project teams to identify and create solutions across I&C and WPB project portfolios.
• Coordinate procurement efforts to ensure alignment on our objectives.
• Contribute to project planning proposals and the approval stage-gates.
• Oversee program-level risk management, compliance, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance sourcing strategies and engage suppliers effectively.
• Track KPIs and report on significant project performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Lead initiatives for process enhancements and digital transformation within procurement programs.
• Provide mentorship and support to procurement project managers.
• Assist in developing procurement strategies and plans in collaboration with Offer and Project Teams, identifying and capturing demand, pinpointing potential suppliers, and establishing communication channels with them. Aid Commercial Teams in executing sourcing strategies to achieve objectives while enhancing performance.
• Assess all cost components for commodity groups to identify and secure cost efficiencies.
• Formulate strategies to optimize the cost/value of the supplier base.
• Cultivate relationships with key suppliers and team members while mediating and resolving issues related to contract performance.
• Utilize the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing needs.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and Westinghouse's Procurement procedures.
• Manage supply and supplier commitments post-purchase order or contract issuance, including change and contract management.
• Assist Accounts Payables in resolving discrepancies between supplier invoices and purchase orders.
• Implement Best-Cost Country Sourcing, focusing on Central and Eastern Europe.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a Business or Engineering degree is preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in supply chain management and large-scale projects, with a minimum of 3 years in program management.
• Preferred experience in sourcing, supplier management, and familiarity with the supplier base in the nuclear sector.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
