Strategic Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and cultivate strategic relationships with large, multi-site enterprise accounts.

• Engage with C-level executives, VPs, and senior operations leaders to pinpoint automation opportunities.

• Support partners in discovering new applications and expansion prospects within customer locations.

• Collaborate with the Director of Channel Sales to qualify, assign, and progress channel-driven opportunities.

• Lead technical and commercial discussions that shape customer specifications and RFPs.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with key clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

• Work closely with internal engineering, solutions, and leadership teams.

• Identify and reach out to prospective customers, fostering relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.

• Provide reports on sales metrics and accurate forecasts directly to the Head of Sales; contribute to the setting of sales quotas and targets; lead forecasting activities with sales team members.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, or Business, or equivalent technical experience, or a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.

• More than 10 years of experience in sales and/or sales management, with a demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding targets.

• Established experience selling to Fortune 500 manufacturers, large retail or distribution networks, as well as 3PL and logistics operations.

• A strong enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Preferred experience in the industrial automation sector, with knowledge of robotics, material handling equipment, sensors/machine vision, etc.
