Strategic Program Director, Global Housing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize business initiatives based on their strategic value, effort, risk, scalability, and profit impact.

• Oversee comprehensive planning and execution across various initiatives, programs, projects, and workstreams, from intake and approval to delivery and closure.

• Establish governance through the use of roadmaps, schedules, dashboards, status reports, action logs, risk and issue management, project documentation, and executive updates.

• Align leaders, cross-functional teams, and both internal and external project resources around objectives, responsibilities, budgets, timelines, and decision-making processes.

• Overcome obstacles and maintain project momentum.

• Transform complex, time-sensitive information into clear recommendations and actionable steps.

• Recognize trends, streamline opportunities, and enhance program and project management practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of project management experience, including ownership of concurrent initiatives or complex cross-functional tasks.

• Proven experience in leading project resources or direct reports and guiding teams through ambiguity, competing priorities, and organizational change.

• Ability to foster cross-functional consensus, create a sense of urgency, analyze complex information, make informed decisions, and influence stakeholders across various levels.

• Strong skills in project and program management, communication, facilitation, negotiation, and relationship-building.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.

• Experience in insurance or underwriting.

• Familiarity with Agile development processes.

• Expertise in portfolio management and experience delivering work for large internal or external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in PMI methodology or possession of a PMP certification.

• In-depth knowledge of a business function relevant to the portfolio.
