This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and implement a systematic field call cycle to ensure consistent and impactful engagement with designated I.D.A., Guardian, Remedy’sRx, and Enterprise pharmacy locations.
• Serve as a strategic business ally to pharmacy owners and operators, enhancing Member satisfaction, loyalty, and growth through outstanding service and value delivery.
• Proactively pinpoint business risks and service challenges, applying timely and efficient mitigation strategies to safeguard Member relationships and performance.
• Evaluate pharmacy performance metrics, prepare business reviews, and present insights that facilitate data-driven decision-making and revenue enhancement.
• Oversee and influence Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to guarantee operational excellence and alignment with McKesson and Member objectives.
• Deliver extensive operational support across marketing, advertising, pharmacy operations, formulary compliance, product distribution, POS systems, and the adoption of pharmacy technology.
• Counsel Members on tactics to boost sales and profitability, including the execution of Own Brand initiatives and compliance with key programs.
• Monitor and enhance pharmacy purchasing behavior, ensuring alignment with program expectations while maximizing rebate and incentive opportunities.
• Lead discussions for Banner Agreement renewals, assisting in negotiation and execution to establish long-term partnerships.
• Act as the primary point of contact between Members and internal McKesson teams—including Pharmacy Services, Business Development, Pharmacy Technology Solutions, and others—to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
• Generate and share qualified leads with internal stakeholders to bolster business development, technology adoption, and pharmacy growth.
• Assist in merchandising plans and store readiness for new pharmacy openings, renovations, and relocations, including the coordination of opening orders and promotional execution.
• A university degree is preferred; equivalent experience in retail pharmacy management will be considered.
• Demonstrated capability to cultivate enduring relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in a fast-paced environment where prioritization skills are crucial.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of retail pharmacy operations is advantageous.
• Up to 60% travel required - limited overnight travel.
