Strategic Finance Transformation Lead – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops with CFOs and senior leaders in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, Treasury, FP&A, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology.

• Establish the Finance Platform North Star and define the target operating model.

• Evaluate existing finance processes, data, controls, and systems to discover transformation and simplification opportunities.

• Integrate Finance, Actuarial, Operations, Data, and Technology into a cohesive future-state design.

• Convert business challenges into capabilities and collaborate with product and technology teams to outline future architecture.

• Identify automation, advanced analytics, and AI opportunities within Finance.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives throughout the transformation process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience at the intersection of Finance, Insurance, and Transformation.

• Background in finance leadership, controllership, finance transformation, business architecture, senior finance specialization, or advisory roles.

• Strong expertise in finance and accounting.

• Experience in managing complex finance transformations.

• Ability to engage credibly with CFO-level stakeholders.

• Valuable experience in connecting Finance with Actuarial, Risk, Operations, and Technology.

• U.S. health insurance/payer finance experience is a significant advantage, though not mandatory.

• Experience with insurance finance, financial subledgers, SAP FPSL, or similar platforms is advantageous.
