Strategic Finance, Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage financial and operational models that guide pricing, demand, revenue strategies, and long-term planning.

• Derive insights from financial and operational data to facilitate strategic decisions, pinpoint risks and opportunities, and enhance performance.

• Oversee budgeting and forecasting initiatives, including scenario planning and variance analysis.

• Collaborate with the CEO and VP of Development to assess both short- and long-term fundraising requirements, create grant budgets, and oversee expenditures related to grants.

• Work cross-functionally with program, development, and sales teams to ensure alignment on priorities, monitor performance, and aid execution.

• Transform complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and the Board.

• Assess new programs, partnerships, and growth opportunities through financial modeling and ROI analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in finance, economics, or a related analytical discipline.

• Experience with commercial/consumer modeling and/or SaaS.

• 3-5+ years of experience in an FP&A role, corporate finance, consulting, or investment banking, among others.

• Outstanding organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Comfort in a highly collaborative and fast-paced work environment.

• Capability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.

• Team-oriented with a readiness and enthusiasm to assist.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

• Proficient in handling highly sensitive information while maintaining strict confidentiality.

• Skilled in database applications such as Excel VBA and other data analysis tools.
