• Serve as the main Finance Business Partner for the Product and Engineering teams, directly aiding in annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and decision-making support.
• Lead the annual budgeting process for R&D and cloud hosting (COGS), collaborating across functions to consolidate bottom-up departmental inputs into a cohesive financial plan.
• Perform monthly analyses of cost variances and spending trends to identify underlying causes, translating insights into recommendations that enhance business performance.
• Proactively oversee the achievement of business unit results, including recognizing and mitigating risks while driving opportunities.
• Develop and standardize detailed P&L reporting at the product level, enhancing visibility into unit economics, gross margins, and investment efficiency.
• Take ownership of the financial framework for Product Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), converting product-level performance into roadmap and resource allocation decisions.
• Deploy modern planning system dashboards (Pigment) to provide forward-looking insights across the Product and Engineering sectors.
• Adopt a builder's mindset for the application of AI in finance by identifying tools and workflows that enhance decision-making speed, streamline forecasting, and reallocate time towards deeper business collaboration.
• Over 7 years of comprehensive finance experience, encompassing FP&A or finance/operations roles.
• Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a quick learning aptitude.
• A forward-thinking approach, curiosity, and the capability to simplify complex information into easily digestible financial models and narratives.
• Experience in a SaaS business model and within a global company is regarded as a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both in verbal presentations and written business communications.
• Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and influencing skills, particularly at the senior leadership stakeholder level.
• Process-oriented mindset, with experience in creating scalable processes and utilizing automation.
• Strong systems proficiency and technical expertise in advanced planning systems (Pigment, Adaptive); familiarity with AI/ML applications is considered a notable plus.
