This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of and implement a territory strategy that promotes the acquisition of new logos and growth within designated enterprise and government accounts.
• Develop, manage, and enhance a high-value, strategic sales pipeline, incorporating both self-sourced opportunities and those influenced by channel partners.
• Successfully navigate intricate enterprise structures by identifying key stakeholders, fostering multithreaded relationships, and engaging with C-suite executives and board members.
• Guide customers through the processes of discovery, evaluation, proposal development, and alignment of solutions.
• Create and present persuasive proposals that connect Cohesity’s platform to customer risks, resilience needs, and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with channel partners and technology alliances (including NVIDIA, IBM, HPE, and AWS) to expedite deal progression and broaden market presence.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and deliver steady quarterly and annual performance results.
• Offer market insights and customer feedback to leadership to refine Cohesity’s go-to-market approach.
• Proven experience in selling to and collaborating with Information Security / Cybersecurity teams.
• A customer-centric mindset and enthusiasm for cybersecurity, particularly in post-incident recovery scenarios.
• Established enterprise sales experience, ideally covering both infrastructure and SaaS environments.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new logos and expanding large enterprise accounts.
• In-depth understanding of data security architectures, ransomware resilience, and the competitive landscape.
• Strong preference for familiarity with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles).
• Knowledge of NetBackup, Backup Exec, and InfoScale, including immutable storage, hardened media servers, ACL-based controls, and encryption.
• Strong channel focus, with the capability to co-sell while retaining deal ownership.
• Outstanding communication skills, including proficiency in executive presentations and business case development.
• Proven ability to utilize AI tools to boost productivity, streamline workflows, and assist in decision-making.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Must possess proficiency in the English language (capable of interacting fluently in speaking, reading, and writing in a professional and specialized context).
