This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluates data and trends from both internal and external sources to provide recommendations pertaining to the organization’s strategic positioning, market conditions, service lines, competitor actions, and volume/market share trends across the system.
• Consults with leadership to interpret data and advises and guides system and regional senior leaders on decisions based on the provided data.
• Aids system strategy and regional leadership by conducting demographic analyses, assessing provider and service access, payer profiles and trends, validating supply databases, profiling medical staff (e.g., age, specialty, utilization modeling/forecasts), and other critical metrics necessary for supporting strategic planning, capital planning, provider recruitment, pro forma development, and the annual budget process.
• Tracks shifts in market competition, consumer preferences, and technological trends to assist strategy leaders in evaluating the organization’s footprint and service portfolio across all served regions.
• Supports strategy leaders in monitoring vendor contracts, deliverables, and available tools for strategic and business development initiatives, including third-party vendors, claims data, state data, etc.
• Collaborates with System Data Analytics (SDA) to develop dashboards essential for monitoring strategic priorities.
• Partners with SDA to offer strategic guidance for the continuous maintenance of internal, system-wide rosters that reflect all providers and care sites utilized in Master Data Management (MDM).
• Assists strategy and regional leaders in conducting research and creating presentation materials required for competitive analyses and Mergers/Acquisitions (M/A) assessments.
• Produces market-level and heat maps that illustrate internal and competitive care sites, market share penetration, and distance calculations necessary for supporting provider recruitment and alignment initiatives.
• Investigates health care and technology trends to aid in clinical program planning, digital health expansion, and transformation initiatives.
• Compiles assessments for key stakeholders and offers recommendations based on research and data.
• Creates internal data reports and assessments, including monthly volume trending and retrospective assessments to support both near-term Net Operating Income (NOI) initiatives and business development efforts, as well as long-term master facility planning.
• Prepares data presentations for senior leadership that clearly and concisely exhibit findings and recommendations.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Five years of relevant experience.
