Strategic Accounts Manager – Individual Retirement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of relationships with assigned strategic distribution partners, concentrating on the Individual Retirement Business.

• Formulate and implement a strategic plan for each relationship, emphasizing sales growth, operational efficiency, training, and marketing requirements.

• Act as an advocate for strategic partners by driving initiatives within PCS to ensure maximization of growth opportunities.

• Collaborate effectively, promoting and training strategic partners while communicating internally with Sales/Sales Management, Marketing, Product, and Service teams.

• Assist in distribution initiatives such as internal sales prospecting, webinars, campaign development/execution, and sales/service promotional activities with fund company partners to foster overall success.

• Function as a product/service expert to champion PCS and efficiently manage and resolve issues as they arise.

• Lead, coordinate, and engage in special projects that bolster our overarching sales distribution and retention strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in an external sales environment is required, with a preference for K-12 403b and/or Simple IRA experience.

• A solid understanding of investments and qualified plans is necessary.

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

• The ability to exercise independent judgment, prioritize tasks, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple tasks is essential.

• Demonstrated capability to thrive in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.

• Ability to sit, type, and view a computer monitor for extended periods.

• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.

• Must be capable of typing and performing repetitive keystrokes.

• May involve up to 30% travel.
