This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement growth strategies for designated industry verticals.
• Recognize emerging trends, market prospects, competitive dynamics, and industry challenges.
• Develop and uphold target account strategies along with market development plans.
• Construct ecosystem maps of customers, partners, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert for assigned segments, providing market intelligence to leadership.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business prospects within targeted markets.
• Cultivate and sustain executive-level relationships with strategic customers and industry stakeholders.
• Guide complex sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and business functions.
• Formulate account expansion strategies that align with long-term growth objectives.
• Manage the sales process from opportunity development to contract execution.
• Represent Crown Castle at industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, and association meetings.
• Engage in industry working groups, panels, advisory boards, and networking events.
• Enhance market awareness and bolster company credibility within target segments.
• Communicate market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership teams.
• Act as the voice of the customer and the market within the organization.
• Influence go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and growth initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to support strategic customer pursuits and segment objectives.
• Develop strategic account plans for enterprise and strategic customers.
• Maintain precise pipeline, forecasting, and account data within CRM systems.
• Ensure accountability for opportunity advancement and business development activities.
• Relay market conditions, pipeline status, and growth prospects to leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, business development, or similar commercial roles.
• Experience selling to or collaborating with ISPs, hyperscalers, AI infrastructure providers, compute companies, cloud platforms, connectivity, network infrastructure, or related digital infrastructure sectors.
• Proven experience in managing enterprise and strategic customer relationships.
• Demonstrated success in generating pipeline, developing new business opportunities, and managing intricate sales cycles.
• Strong skills in executive communication and relationship building.
• Experience in creating account growth strategies and go-to-market plans.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more.
• Preferred experience in telecommunications infrastructure, ISP services, fiber, connectivity, wireless infrastructure, network services, data center services, hyperscaler, AI infrastructure, compute, cloud, or related technology sectors.
• Existing connections, industry networks, or substantial market familiarity with relevant infrastructure decision-makers are strongly preferred.
• Additional experience in broadcast, energy, IoT, edge, cable, drones/UAS, satellite, or emerging technology sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience in participating in industry conferences, associations, advisory boards, panels, or thought leadership activities.
• Experience in developing partnerships, ecosystem relationships, or industry alliances.
