This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Act as the strategic leader for significant Electrification accounts, managing the relationship, planning, and outcomes.
• Cultivate executive-level relationships ranging from the C-suite down and facilitate regular business reviews.
• Create a dynamic 3+ year account strategy that aligns with GE Vernova's priorities and the long-term goals, needs, and culture of the customer.
• Promote GE Vernova's comprehensive Electrification product and service offerings, including HV systems and equipment, Protection and Control, power stability solutions, Battery Storage and Solar Inverters, and Energy Management software.
• Foster collaboration across business lines to provide complex or multi-business-line solutions.
• Collaborate with Gas Power and Wind Power sales teams to enhance Electrification attachment rates to new generation projects.
• Work with Enterprise Strategic Account Executive partners to boost penetration and refine strategy.
• Utilize technical expertise in HV equipment and electrical substation systems to distinguish solutions and formulate counterstrategies.
• Establish and execute relationship mapping to connect GE Vernova leadership with customer representatives.
• Identify and generate ongoing opportunities for customer engagement.
• Employ operational data, standardized workflows, and metrics such as Net Promoter Score to track relationship health, account profitability, and strategic alignment.
• Provide quarterly updates on account growth and progress to the VP of Business Development for North America.
• Over 5 years of experience in direct sales, commercial management, account management, or a customer- or supplier-facing position in an EPC environment or end-user context.
• Engineering background with extensive technical knowledge of High Voltage equipment and electrical substation systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in the transmission and distribution sector.
• Demonstrated success in building and sustaining C-suite customer relationships and managing complex, multi-product strategic accounts.
• Proximity to a GE Vernova Electrification customer center of competence, or readiness to relocate.
• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience navigating large, matrixed organizations to align company strategy with customer strategy (preferred).
• Strong financial management capabilities, including understanding utility economics and the competitive landscape (preferred).
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Proximity to a major airport within 1 hour (preferred).
• Preferred base location: Portland, Oregon.
