This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and execute tailored sales, marketing, and engagement strategies for key accounts by utilizing the Consultative Sales Process (CSP) to uncover opportunities and cater to each client's specific requirements.
• Enhance relationships and drive growth with key accounts through consistent communication and informative updates regarding their performance and advancements; assist accounts in reaching their objectives.
• Offer extensive training opportunities for agents via in-person and virtual interactions, training sessions, client presentations, product information meetings, and continuous website and e-commerce strategies, including familiarization trips for travel advisors as needed.
• Maximize the effectiveness of marketing materials; ensure that the collection of brands is prominently displayed in key account agencies.
• Efficiently manage brochure inventory and regional distribution.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects.
• Assess the return on investment (ROI) of potential trade and consumer shows/events and participate in those that prove advantageous.
• Continuously seek out new shows/events that would benefit the brand.
• Remain informed about competitor activities in the designated territory and keep updated on industry trends.
• Provide insights to the management team regarding trends and opportunities.
• Ensure that all requested sales reports are precise, comprehensive, and submitted promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities in Salesforce; document training sessions, appointments, tasks, customer feedback, and other sales activities in a timely manner.
• Utilize Salesforce reports to deliver valuable information to agents during every call and in regular email communications.
• Maintain annual and seasonal KPIs, including but not limited to Aladdin and Sales Force logging, as well as CSP utilization.
• Proactively pursue and nurture group business; sustain communication with the originating agent from the onset of the process to the group's departure and follow up post-group.
• Oversee T&E budget and co-op marketing funds in a cost-effective manner, adhering to established policies.
• 5+ years of experience in sales and customer service, with at least 3 years in the travel industry and territory sales.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing sales targets through consultative selling, strategic account management, and fostering a sense of urgency in others while meeting deadlines.
• Experience in delivering engaging presentations, product training, and customer-facing events.
• Strong skills in relationship-building, negotiation, and business development.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel), LCD/Data projection, and virtual presentation/webinar tools.
• Capable of utilizing web tools and in-house technical resources, adapting to new technologies, quickly learning innovative programs, and using computers to enhance productivity.
• Familiarity with a consultative sales approach.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, planning, and organizational skills; must be able to effectively deliver product/destination training, engage as a credible trainer, and represent the company professionally at both internal and external events.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen effectively, be attentive to customers, quickly adjust to different personal styles, and remain open to diverse perspectives.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Self-driven, adaptable, customer-oriented, and motivated to achieve results.
• Ability to flourish in a high-performance, team-oriented culture, bringing positive energy, professionalism, and accountability on a daily basis.
