This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• Join our team as a Strategic Account Manager and play a pivotal role in cultivating partnerships with government agencies and contracted clients.
• In this impactful role, you will establish and enhance strategic relationships, assess customer requirements, and provide customized solutions that promote revenue and sustainable growth.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with teams in product management, finance, quality, supply chain, compliance, and technical operations, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients while ensuring exceptional service and successful results.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of high-value government accounts, creating multi-year strategies that facilitate profitable, sustainable growth.
• Be accountable for revenue, margin performance, and commercial results across a multi-million dollar government portfolio.
• Assume commercial responsibility through pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and long-term agreements, ensuring value-driven outcomes, margin protection, and aligned commercial terms.
• Utilize insights from customers, the market, and competitors to identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and shape government strategies.
• Cultivate and sustain trusted relationships with senior-level customers and act as a strategic partner in shaping government program roadmaps, supply strategies, and long-term collaboration models.
• Convert complex customer requirements into scalable government programs by coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve compliant, timely, and high-quality results.
• Influence internal teams and priorities across manufacturing, quality, regulatory, supply chain, and product management to support strategic commitments to customers.
• Provide senior-level oversight of demand forecasting, supply continuity, and lead proactive risk mitigation strategies, including dual sourcing, capacity planning, and regulatory/change control management for critical government programs.
• Employ business tools (SFDC) to maintain precise records of sales activities, encompassing customer interactions, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
• Prepare management updates such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Joint Business Planning Reviews (PBP), highlighting key performance metrics and achievements regularly (weekly, monthly).
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in selling technical products utilized in research laboratories.
• Previous experience in strategic account management with centralized or global procurement organizations is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of the global Analytical Instrument market and essential laboratory workflows.
• Exceptional commercial acumen and planning skills, with a proven history of meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
• Proven success in navigating lengthy sales cycles, complex stakeholder environments, and multi-year contract negotiations.
• Capability to develop and implement multi-year strategies for complex, high-value private label accounts that foster profitable, long-term growth.
• Strong knowledge of private label economics, including pricing, margin drivers, volume commitments, and long-term contract frameworks.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management platforms, such as Salesforce.com (SFDC).
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered a significant asset.
• Willingness to travel within the Americas region and other global locations as needed.
