This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Manage and expand a portfolio of high-value government accounts, crafting multi-year strategies that promote profitable and sustainable growth.
• Responsible for revenue, margin performance, and commercial results across a multi-million dollar government portfolio.
• Take commercial charge through pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and long-term agreements, ensuring value-driven outcomes, margin protection, and aligned commercial terms.
• Utilize customer, market, and competitive insights to identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and inform government strategies.
• Develop and sustain trusted, senior-level customer relationships, acting as a strategic partner that influences government program roadmaps, supply strategies, and long-term collaboration models.
• Convert complex customer requirements into scalable government programs, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, timely, and high-quality results.
• Influence internal teams and priorities across manufacturing, quality, regulatory, supply chain, and product management to fulfill strategic customer commitments.
• Provide senior-level oversight of demand forecasting, supply continuity, and lead proactive risk mitigation strategies, including dual sourcing, capacity planning, and regulatory/change control management for critical government programs.
• Use business tools (SFDC) to maintain precise records of sales activities, encompassing customer interactions, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
• Prepare management updates such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Joint Business Planning Reviews (PBP), routinely highlighting key performance metrics and achievements (weekly, monthly).
• B.S. in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in selling technical products utilized in research laboratories.
• Previous strategic account management experience with centralized or global procurement organizations is highly preferred.
• In-depth understanding of the global Analytical Instrument market and key laboratory workflows.
• Exceptional commercial awareness and planning capabilities, with a proven history of meeting and surpassing sales targets.
• Demonstrated success in navigating lengthy sales cycles, complex stakeholder environments, and multi-year contract negotiations.
• Ability to formulate and implement multi-year strategies for complex, high-value private label accounts that foster profitable, long-term growth.
• Strong acumen and understanding of private label economics, including pricing, margin drivers, volume commitments, and long-term contract structures.
• Experience with customer relationship management platforms, such as Salesforce.com (SFDC).
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel within the Americas region and other global locations as necessary.
