This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Oversee and Expand Strategic Clients β Formulate and implement strategic account plans for valuable accounts, focusing on growth goals and customer requirements.
β’ Cultivate Strong Customer Relationships β Connect with key stakeholders, including architectural teams, purchasing committees, and procurement, to enhance Matillionβs footprint.
β’ Generate New Business Opportunities β Discover, research, and secure new strategic clients through focused prospecting and engagement methods.
β’ Manage the Complete Sales Cycle β Oversee deals from initial discovery to onboarding, collaborating with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success teams for effective execution.
β’ Build Partner Alliances β Collaborate closely with technology and consulting partners, nurturing robust seller-to-seller relationships to create joint opportunities.
β’ Ensure Operational Excellence β Implement MEDDPICC principles for opportunity management, maintain precise forecasting, and continually improve sales techniques.
β’ Significant Sales Experience β Comprehensive full-cycle strategic sales history, preferably in Data & Analytics, SaaS, or enterprise software.
β’ Proven Achievements in High-Value Transactions β Demonstrated success in surpassing $1M+ ARR quotas, closing six-figure deals, and managing seven-figure customer accounts.
β’ Strategic Account Development β Capability to navigate complex accounts, uncover new use cases, and enhance customer value through a consultative sales methodology.
β’ Sales Methodology & Negotiation Skills β Proficiency in sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC, Force Management, or Value Selling, coupled with strong negotiation and closing abilities.
β’ Pipeline Development & Customer Interaction β Independently identify, develop, and onboard new customers while sustaining a high level of client engagement (5+ meetings per week).
β’ Entrepreneurial & Collaborative Attitude β Experience in both startup and enterprise settings, utilizing internal resources to achieve success in a dynamic environment.
