This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the complete sales process – from prospecting through to contract execution – to meet and surpass CPI’s sales and revenue objectives.
• Act as the primary representative of CPI for prospective clients.
• Strategically pinpoint, engage, and convert new opportunities within the education or healthcare sectors using targeted account-based strategies.
• Present compelling, solution-focused presentations that cater to customer needs and highlight CPI’s distinct value proposition.
• Establish and cultivate executive-level relationships, aligning CPI’s training solutions with customer business challenges for optimal impact.
• Develop and oversee a strong pipeline of qualified prospects, utilizing CRM and sales tools for precise activity tracking and forecasting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer care, to guarantee seamless customer experiences and effective solution implementations.
• Offer actionable insights to leadership regarding industry trends, competitive activities, and client feedback to aid in strategic planning.
• Provide reports on sales performance, customer interactions, and pipeline advancement to leadership.
• Represent CPI at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to enhance market presence and forge valuable connections.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory requirements to maintain CPI's competitive edge.
• Execute other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• At least three years of successful sales experience.
• Documented success in a ‘hunter’ sales role, with verifiable new business achievements.
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM platforms.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Fulfill all Vendor Credentialing requirements to ensure unrestricted access to CPI customer sites.
• Consistently uphold all credentialing standards throughout employment to facilitate essential job functions.
• Expertise in managing complex sales cycles and influencing executive decision-makers.
• Strong business acumen with sound independent judgment in customer interactions.
• Advanced consultative selling skills to identify needs and deliver customized solutions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accountability for results.
• Proven capability to multitask, prioritize, and organize within a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• High resilience and the ability to manage frequent rejection with a positive outlook.
