This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Oversee strategic account initiatives for major prospects and clients throughout Belgium and Luxembourg, guiding efforts during both pre-sales and post-sales phases.
• Identify opportunities within enterprise accounts by engaging in prospecting, building relationships, and understanding customer business requirements through a consultative approach.
• Develop account strategies and customer proposals that effectively link GitLab's capabilities to the priorities and transformation goals of the organization.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, post-sales, and support teams to ensure successful product implementation and customer adoption.
• Generate a qualified sales pipeline in collaboration with strategic channel partners and assist in new customer acquisition initiatives.
• Provide customer insights and product suggestions to GitLab's public issue tracker to voice customer perspectives.
• Compile activity and forecast reports, and assist in analyzing successes and failures to enhance future sales strategies.
• Work alongside marketing, account teams, product managers, and technical groups to share insights and clearly communicate customer requirements.
• Proven experience in selling to large organizations and navigating intricate enterprise sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain executive-level customer relationships with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
• Proficiency in consultative selling, including crafting proposals, presentations, and formal quotes tailored to customer business needs.
• Strong skills in negotiation, presentation, and closing discussions clearly and effectively.
• Comfort in working autonomously on complex projects while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English and French is required; proficiency in Dutch is a significant advantage for engaging within the BeLux market.
• Familiarity with GitLab or similar tools, including Git, software development tools, application lifecycle management, or security and application security tools.
