This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Lead business development initiatives in the French and European defence and aerospace sectors, focusing on military end users, OEMs, prime contractors, and government procurement entities such as the DGA.
• Manage the entire B2B defence sales process: from prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Develop and enhance a valuable network within the French defence industry, armed forces, and pertinent government organizations.
• Convert intricate mission-critical software capabilities into clear operational advantages for both technical and executive decision-makers.
• Represent the company at significant defence trade exhibitions and conferences (e.g., Eurosatory, DSEI, DVD).
• Collaborate with Go-to-Market, Product, and Engineering teams by integrating market intelligence and customer insights into the product development strategy.
• Identify and nurture strategic alliances with system integrators, OEMs, and platform manufacturers.
• Demonstrated success in defence software sales, aerospace sales, or B2B sales within safety-critical sectors.
• Experience in or close cooperation with military, armed forces, government defence agencies, or security organizations.
• Strong established network in the French defence market, preferably with connections at OEMs, prime contractors, the DGA, or French armed forces (Armée de Terre, Marine Nationale, Armée de l'Air).
• Proven experience in managing intricate, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes.
• European citizenship is mandatory.
• Native French (C2) proficiency and fluent business English; German is advantageous but not essential.
• Self-motivated, organized, and practical, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
