• Formulate and implement consultative and solution-oriented sales strategies and tactics to cultivate a pipeline, stimulate sales opportunities, and ensure consistent and predictable revenue growth.
• Utilize Account-Based Marketing (ABM) support to engage with Chief Technology Officers and Data Leaders.
• Spearhead the discovery process to collect inputs for the Business Value Assessment (BVA).
• Collaborate in the creation of BVA presentations and take ownership of presenting them to potential clients.
• Establish a reputation as a thought leader and manage relationships with executive buyers, defining favorable business outcomes for large enterprises.
• Work in conjunction with all major internal functional areas (sales engineering, marketing, sales, and partnerships) as well as external partners and clients.
• Investigate, identify, and cultivate new business opportunities to build and oversee a sales funnel and pipeline.
• Over 7 years of experience in SaaS, with at least 5 years in roles focused on closing sales.
• Proven experience selling to Global 2000 companies.
• Familiarity with the C-suite and exceptional listening abilities.
• A demonstrated history of success in early-stage companies or environments characterized by high ambiguity.
• Experience in selling complex and technical products to data and engineering teams.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following areas: outbound sales, category creation, and the build versus buy decision-making process.
• A verified record of successfully closing six and seven-figure software cloud deals with potential clients.
• Experience with consumption models (or a willingness to learn) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques; knowledge of MEDDPICC and Challenger methodologies is a plus.
