This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CHROs and senior client leaders, confidently presenting and establishing executive-level relationships.
• Build deep credibility with clients by comprehending delivery nuances, assisting teams through escalations, quality concerns (E&Os), and change order negotiations.
• Utilize this credibility and executive presence to expand connections across client organizations, engaging with additional leaders, identifying challenges, and connecting them to Alight’s solutions.
• Drive strategies for renewal and retention, including preparation, presentation, and negotiation, to ensure long-term client satisfaction.
• Embrace a client-first, growth-oriented mindset—leveraging existing access and relationships to cross-sell and expand business opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with internal partners to tackle client challenges, coordinate resources, and deliver ROI/VOI-driven solutions.
• Customize deal approaches to fit client personalities and processes, crafting unique solutions rather than generic strategies.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations with clients to discuss results, address concerns, and pinpoint new growth opportunities.
• Over 5 years of demonstrated success in account management, client success, or strategic sales within HR, consulting, brokerage, healthcare, or similar industries.
• Proven experience managing mid-to-large employer accounts (5,000+ employees).
• Professional demeanor with strong executive communication, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
• In-depth understanding of Alight’s solutions and delivery, with the capability to navigate client-specific details.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a talent for developing innovative, client-specific strategies.
• Growth-oriented mindset with a proven track record of identifying and securing expansion opportunities.
• Collaborative mindset with a commitment to long-term client partnerships and retention.
• Exceptional organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills, along with a strong ability to manage complex relationships.
• Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills, with the capacity to effectively persuade and collaborate with clients, brokers, team members, and leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals while managing a complex portfolio of accounts.
• Proficient in facilitating strategic planning discussions, assisting clients in defining and reaching key objectives.
