This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive business relationship with Target, acting as the main sales representative for the account.
• Create and implement annual and quarterly account strategies to meet revenue, profit, and market share goals.
• Oversee demand forecasting, assortment planning, and inventory management efforts in collaboration with both internal and external partners.
• Secure and manage purchase orders, promotional agreements, and the execution of retail programs.
• Propel effective promotional planning and merchandising strategies to enhance sell-through rates and category performance.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and deliver strategic business updates to senior leadership.
• Administer credit, Marketing Development Fund (MDF), and trade investment processes to ensure operational excellence and accountability for ROI.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all facets of the Target business model, systems, merchandising processes, and organizational structure.
• Track competitive actions, category trends, and emerging consumer opportunities to pinpoint growth initiatives.
• Establish and lead processes for long-term strategic product planning between Razer and Target.
• Collaborate closely with Razer’s global product teams and Target’s merchant/vendor management teams to create innovative retail initiatives.
• Drive cross-functional alignment on custom, exclusive, and strategic product opportunities.
• Ensure that key initiatives are on track and executed flawlessly across product, supply chain, marketing, and retail operations teams.
• Proactively identify and address execution gaps, pricing issues, and timeline risks.
• Lead the creation of joint marketing and go-to-market strategies that maximize revenue potential and strengthen the strategic partnership.
• Serve as a crucial link among sales, product marketing, merchandising, retail marketing, and operations teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 7 years of experience in consumer electronics, gaming, or related retail sales/account management.
• Proven track record of managing mass retail channel accounts, with a strong preference for prior experience with Target.
• Deep understanding of retail merchandising, forecasting, supply chain coordination, and promotional planning.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Strong instincts in product marketing and commercial savvy.
• Proven capability to juggle multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.
• An analytical mindset complemented by strong business planning and financial management skills.
