Stop Loss Claim Auditor Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the review and auditing of specific stop-loss claim submissions.

• Ensure that claim documentation and supporting records are accurate and complete.

• Conduct analysis of medical and pharmaceutical claims data.

• Help identify discrepancies in claims, overpayments, and findings from audits.

• Utilize Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to efficiently organize, analyze, and report data.

• Aid auditors in the preparation of client reports and summaries of audit findings.

• Engage in process improvement initiatives and special projects.

• Uphold the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and sensitive client data.

• Communicate with team members regarding findings from audits and the status of projects.

• Currently enrolled as a sophomore in college, pursuing a degree in Healthcare or a related Science field.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail along with robust organizational skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
