This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute steam turbine projects for Own Fleet Capital Parts, intricate upgrades, engineering studies, and valve solutions.
• Lead and manage comprehensive project engineering teams, including both engineering subcontractors and internal/external interfaces.
• Deliver necessary engineering documentation on time, ensuring quality, minimizing changes, and adhering to budget targets.
• Assist in project setup alongside Engineering functions, Workshops, Supply Chain, and Field Service.
• Define deliverables, interfaces, timelines, and establish the Baseline Plan.
• Manage prioritization and escalation as necessary.
• Utilize Propolis tools and OneEngineering processes for efficient project management and timely engineering task completion within budget constraints.
• Adhere to global standards and common processes to guarantee consistent quality.
• Ensure compliance and product safety for all provided components in line with GE Vernova’s SQDC.
• Organize and facilitate Design Reviews throughout project execution.
• Foster innovation and assist with lean methodology enhancements.
• Report directly to the global Steam Turbine Requisition Engineering Manager within the New Services Engineering organization.
• Oversee industrial and nuclear steam turbines in the Americas and the worldwide installed fossil fleet.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5+ years of combined experience in mechanical engineering related to turbomachinery or power plant components, technical field services, repairs, or plant operations services.
• At least 5 years of experience in project execution activities, ranging from typical transactional service business to complex upgrades.
• Willingness to travel regionally or globally up to 20% of the time.
• Demonstrated competence and experience in customer negotiation and execution activities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across functions in a matrix environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities, including experience in multi-location and multi-cultural settings.
