This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and validation of R/Python code for the automation of analytical datasets and TLF generation.

• Convert SAPs and metadata specifications (YAML/CSV) into executable and reproducible code.

• Develop and validate R packages and data science tools that facilitate both exploratory and confirmatory analyses.

• Implement and validate statistical models such as MMRM, ANCOVA, and logistic regression.

• Work in collaboration with IT to integrate data science workflows within Databricks and CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate across programming, biostatistics, and data standards functions.

• Conduct peer code reviews, unit testing, and automated validation processes.

• Mentor and guide team members on best practices in programming, validation, and automation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of statistical programming experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including hands-on experience with R and/or Python.

• Demonstrated experience in preparing or supporting R-based regulatory submissions.

• Strong comprehension of CDISC ADaM and SDTM data structures and their application in analytical workflows.

• Experience in developing and validating reusable R/Python libraries and functions.

• Proficient in Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD automation pipelines.

• Familiarity with GxP and Part 11 compliance regulations.

• Excellent documentation and validation practices.

• A collaborative and proactive mindset; capable of working independently within a small, agile team.

• Familiarity with YAML/JSON configuration and metadata-driven programming workflows is preferred.

• Prior experience in migrating from SAS to R/Python is preferred.

• Knowledge of R validation frameworks, such as risk-based testing and reproducibility documentation, is preferred.

• Experience with exploratory analytics or visualization in R or Python within a regulated environment is preferred.
