Start-Up Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete study start-up process, which includes site selection, regulatory submissions, site contracting and budgeting, and site activation.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager and cross-functional leads to establish start-up strategies and timelines.

• Develop and manage a site activation plan, ensuring that chosen sites and countries maximize the potential for successful study execution.

• Actively identify and communicate any issues that may affect delivery, proposing solutions as necessary.

• Track progress against established timelines, proactively addressing any delays or risks that arise.

• Supervise and coordinate each phase of the start-up process to ensure that activation objectives are achieved.

• Act as the main liaison among all involved functions during the start-up phase, facilitating effective cross-functional communication and collaboration.

• Monitor and report on start-up performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.

• In partnership with the Project Manager, lead client-facing discussions and serve as the primary contact for start-up activities with internal teams and Sponsors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical trial start-up, with a proven track record of leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to manage start-up activities across multiple countries and lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

• Exceptional project management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
