📋 Description

• Conduct research related to foundation models, evaluation processes, and cutting-edge AI topics.

• Train models and create innovative architectures, reinforcement learning techniques, reward modeling, and scaling strategies.

• Design benchmarks, evaluation loops, quality metrics, LLM-as-judge systems, and perform failure analyses.

• Investigate multimodal models, agents, tool utilization, test-time computation, and world models.

• Formulate research questions and design experiments to explore these inquiries.

• Author research papers and disseminate findings through publication.

• Implement research outcomes into production environments.

• Develop and showcase public AI projects, interdisciplinary experiments, or contribute to open-source initiatives.

• Engage with first-party speech models, LLM serving, real-time inference, large-scale serving infrastructure, and modular APIs for high-volume real-time workloads.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with foundation models, encompassing training, novel architectures, reinforcement learning, reward modeling, and scaling.

• Proven track record in evaluation, including benchmarks, evaluation loops, quality measurement, LLM-as-judge systems, and failure analysis.

• Familiarity with advanced topics such as multimodal models, agents, tool usage, test-time computation, and world models.

• Research published in conferences such as ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, EMNLP, ACL, or AAAI.

• A PhD in ML/NLP or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Publicly available work, such as significant AI side projects, interdisciplinary research, or open-source contributions.

• Comprehensive research ownership, from defining research questions and conducting experiments to authoring papers and delivering results.

• Candidates must possess the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
