Senior Research Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Perform research on real-time AI applications aimed at consumers.

• Enhance and develop foundational models, speech models, LLMs, and associated AI frameworks.

• Create and execute experiments to address unclear research inquiries.

• Establish evaluation benchmarks, feedback loops, and quality assessment systems.

• Explore multimodal models, agents, tool utilization, test-time computation, and world modeling.

• Advance research from question formulation through experimentation, publication, and deployment in production.

• Deliver research outcomes for impactful consumer applications.

• Engage in daily collaboration with leadership and engineering teams based in the US.

• Disseminate significant work that propels the field forward when suitable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in foundational models, encompassing training, innovative architectures, reinforcement learning, reward modeling, and scaling.

• Skilled in evaluation processes, including benchmarks, feedback loops, quality assessment, LLM-as-judge, and failure analysis.

• Knowledgeable in cutting-edge topics like multimodal models, agents, tool utilization, test-time computation, and world modeling.

• Published research in conferences such as ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, EMNLP, ACL, or AAAI.

• Possess a PhD in ML/NLP or relevant practical experience.

• Demonstrated public work, including significant AI side projects, interdisciplinary experiments, or contributions to open-source projects.

• Full ownership of research activities, from defining questions and conducting experiments to writing papers and delivering results.

• Strong professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

• Authorized to work in Serbia.
