Staff Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily implementation of SAP MM/PP projects, ensuring compliance with project schedules, budgets, and scopes.

• Engage in hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of SAP MM/PP elements, which include MRP, BOMs, and Inventory Management.

• Convert operational requirements into technical specifications for the development team.

• Assist with data mapping, system testing, and cutover tasks during ERP migration initiatives.

• Collaborate with technical teams to guarantee a smooth data exchange between SAP and external manufacturing systems like PLM and Shop Floor systems.

• Direct functional unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Keep functional documentation, training resources, and project status updates current.

• Offer first-line support for functional obstacles and escalate intricate architectural issues to the Technical Product Manager.

• Connect business needs and technical execution for SAP MM/PP solutions that integrate with Quality and warehouse management across Power business manufacturing sites.

• Work closely with the Process Excellence Team, Program Manager, Director, business users, and consultants.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.

• Significant professional IT experience concentrated on SAP ERP implementations.

• Practical expertise in configuring, functionally designing, and maintaining SAP MM/PP modules.

• Involvement in at least three full-cycle SAP ERP implementations from gathering requirements to go-live.

• Strong grasp of Plan-to-Produce (P2P) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) business processes.

• Familiarity with MM/PP integration with FICO, SD, or Project Systems (PS).

• Capability to articulate technical limitations clearly to non-technical business stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple workstreams and adhere to tight project deadlines.

• Proactive in risk identification and planning for mitigation.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional integration teams and promote knowledge sharing.
