Staff Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead intricate, multi-disciplinary, and highly visible technical initiatives to support our team's mission of enhancing our consumer product offerings and platform functionalities.

• Collaborate with engineering teams and non-engineering stakeholders throughout the entire program lifecycle to outline requirements, assess risks, manage program timelines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners across the organization.

• Grasp technical implementation at the architectural level, propose alternative technical solutions, pose clarifying questions regarding priorities, and drive the team towards efficiency while developing domain and technical expertise.

• Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to define requirements, recognize risks, oversee program timelines, and ensure clear communication with cross-functional partners throughout the company.

• Monitor progress, address dependencies, assess risks, communicate status updates to senior management and program stakeholders, and engage program teams to accomplish objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• 8 years of demonstrated experience in managing technical programs.

• A strong passion and commitment to improving consumer finance.

• An organized and strategic mindset for collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

• A keen attention to detail while understanding the importance of timely delivery.

• Experience in leading strategic programs and fostering a remote-friendly culture.

• Actively mentor and elevate team members.

• Proven history of effectively managing complex large-scale technology applications and geographically distributed backend systems.

• A solid track record in stakeholder management with Engineering, Product, Design, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams.

• Previous experience in FinTech, Payments, or Commerce is advantageous.
