This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• You will be responsible for the roadmap and strategy pertaining to two interconnected product domains:
• Establish and drive the product vision for a cohesive identity layer that encompasses a variety of digital entities, including internal operations teams, customers, fleet partners, and vehicles.
• Manage the strategy and execution of products that dictate access across internal systems, customer applications, vehicles, fleet portals, charging infrastructure, and other connected services.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify their requirements concerning access control, granularity, and flexibility.
• Convert those requirements into product specifications and work with engineering to design scalable solutions that operate within complex digital ecosystems.
• Partner with other product managers and business stakeholders to comprehend how the platform can enhance their products, identify their users, understand user interactions with the system, and determine necessary integrations.
• Monitor delivery, highlight interdependencies and obstacles, and facilitate the rollout and adoption across digital product teams and vehicle asset managers.
• Oversee the product that enables internal users to monitor and manage the allocation and utilization of resources such as vehicle inventory and logistics capacity.
• Define intelligent workflows, data models, and integrations that are genuinely beneficial for individuals managing daily operations.
• Collaborate closely with Security & Compliance, Engineering, Legal, Design, and various internal operations and customer-facing teams. Influence and drive architectural decisions without having direct authority over engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 3 years concentrated on identity, authentication, and access management.
• A background in enterprise SaaS or large-scale B2B platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience working in regulated environments, particularly those adhering to SOC 2 and GDPR compliance standards, is essential.
• A proven track record of delivering technical products that cater to multiple internal teams and stakeholders, with the ability to navigate both new initiatives and products at various stages of development.
• Extensive knowledge of contemporary identity and access management concepts and technologies, including:
• Zero Trust architecture principles
• Identity providers such as Okta, Azure AD, or similar
• Federation protocols (SAML, OIDC) and provisioning standards (SCIM)
• Hybrid access models that combine role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC)
• Designing processes and systems for provisioning, maintaining, and auditing access in multi-tenant environments
• Non-human identity patterns, such as service accounts and scoped permissioning for AI agents and automated services.
