📋 Description

• Assist prospects in determining the suitability of their applications for Temporal.

• Educate customers and potential clients on the technical advantages and limitations of the Temporal platform and cloud service.

• Effectively position Temporal in comparison to alternative technologies or technical methodologies.

• Create an environment within customer engineering teams that facilitates the growth of production applications utilizing Temporal.

• Collaborate with Account Executives to design and implement a comprehensive account strategy.

• Manage relationships with customer technical decision-makers in the assessment and operation of Temporal applications.

• Anticipate travel requirements of 25-50%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.

• Comfortable engaging in discussions about distributed system technologies, design choices, and best practices.

• Capable of developing application prototypes and offering guidance through design, development, build, and deployment using one of Temporal’s supported programming languages (Java, Golang, Typescript, Python, PHP).

• Familiar with topics related to operating applications in production, including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.

• Able to provide valuable insights and strong arguments to customers regarding architectural matters such as application patterns and platform designs.

• Proficient in working with at least one major cloud provider and utilizing various services commonly used in application development and production.

• Act as a technical consultant to Sales Account Executives, assisting in identifying suitable use cases, scoping and sizing opportunities, and predicting how customer technical decisions may influence Temporal's effectiveness.
