Senior Solutions Architect II, AI/ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as a technical collaborator for the success and sales teams.

• Conduct architectural assessments, proof of concepts, demonstrations, identify customer technical requirements, and showcase DigitalOcean's value proposition.

• Build extensive knowledge of the DigitalOcean product suite and AI/ML platforms.

• Champion customer interests by relaying feedback to product teams, addressing adoption obstacles, and facilitating the development of new features.

• Provide customized onboarding support and assist customers throughout their cloud journey.

• Create and evaluate architecture designed for specific business applications, ensuring optimal solutions for clients.

• Execute and manage best practices for infrastructure management.

• Spot opportunities for cost savings and performance enhancements.

• Lead technical consultation sessions, workshops, and training for clients.

• Deliver regular presentations that highlight product advantages and technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience in cloud infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, or relevant educational background.

• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and knowledge of platforms such as Hugging Face.

• Experience with deploying and fine-tuning large language models (e.g., DeepSeek, Llama, Claude, GPT-4) and Generative AI models.

• In-depth understanding of Linux, distributed systems, Kubernetes, NFS, Object Storage, and GPU optimization methods (e.g., CUDA, TensorRT).

• Practical experience utilizing vllm and various quantization techniques (e.g., INT4, INT8, and FP8) for effective model deployment.

• Development experience, particularly in creating AI-driven applications (e.g., recommendation systems, chatbots).

• Background in a post-sales or technical consulting position with a focus on AI/ML and cloud solutions.

• Familiarity with provisioning, deployment strategies, and tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.

• Proficient in English.
