Staff Solutions Architect, Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with potential clients to assess the compatibility of their applications with Temporal’s platform.

• Inform customers and prospects about the technical advantages and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud services.

• Differentiate Temporal from competing technologies and architectural models.

• Enhance the adoption and growth of Temporal within customer production settings.

• Work alongside Account Executives to create and implement detailed account strategies.

• Cultivate relationships with technical decision-makers to ensure customers fully utilize Temporal’s features.

• Act as a strategic technical consultant to Sales Account Executives, aiding in opportunity assessment and sizing, as well as advising on technical compatibility and challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the Western Time Zone; preference for San Francisco and Denver.

• Outstanding technical communication abilities, encompassing presentation skills, whiteboarding, and writing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.

• Skilled in developing application prototypes and providing guidance on design, development, building, and deployment in Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.

• Strong understanding of operational considerations in production, including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.

• Capability to provide advice on application patterns and platform architectures.

• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and knowledge of commonly utilized application development and production services.

• Competence in advising Sales Account Executives on opportunity assessment, sizing, technical compatibility, and challenges.
