Staff Solutions Architect – Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with potential clients to assess the compatibility of their applications with Temporal’s platform.

• Inform clients and prospects about the technical advantages and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud services.

• Establish Temporal as a premier solution compared to competing technologies and architectural approaches.

• Create a supportive atmosphere within customer engineering teams to enhance the adoption and growth of Temporal in production settings.

• Work closely with Account Executives to formulate and implement detailed account strategies.

• Manage and cultivate relationships with technical decision-makers at client organizations to ensure they maximize the use of Temporal’s features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the Central Time Zone, preferably in Chicago, Dallas, or Austin.

• Outstanding technical communication abilities, encompassing presenting, whiteboarding, and writing skills.

• In-depth knowledge of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.

• Skilled in creating application prototypes and offering design, development, build, and deployment support using one or more of Temporal’s supported programming languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.

• Strong understanding of operational considerations in production environments, including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.

• Capability to provide valuable insights on architectural matters, including application patterns and platform designs.

• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly utilized application development and production services.

• Act as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, aiding in the assessment of opportunities and providing guidance on technical compatibility and challenges.
