This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with Docker’s key customers and cross-functional teams to enhance the customer’s container and AI experiences, emphasizing developer workflows.
• Interact with customer teams and Docker’s various departments to identify technical and business objectives and challenges related to their container and AI journeys.
• Develop and oversee engagement plans that encompass current products and new offerings from Docker to meet essential business objectives.
• Manage “design partner” rapid prototyping initiatives with Docker engineering and customer teams to ensure product fit for new use cases.
• Partner with Docker teams to create, manage, and deliver tailored demos and content that align with customer use cases.
• Provide impactful enablement and best practices content to audiences ranging from developers to C-suite executives.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% as a senior representative of Docker to engage with prospective clients, customers, and technical alliance partners.
• Serve as a thought leader in a specific area of responsibility, collaborating with fellow Dockhands to create, manage, and deliver relevant content.
• Collect feedback from customer teams and Docker pre-sales and post-sales teams.
• Collaborate with the Field CTO and other Solutions Architects to prioritize, contextualize, and correlate field requests into a coherent set of prioritized requests for the product and engineering teams.
• Work directly with Docker product and engineering teams to ensure workflows and features align with customer use cases prioritized by revenue impact.
• Act as customer zero for new functionalities developed by Docker’s product and engineering teams.
• Provide insights on internal technical enablement and customer enablement requirements, and review enablement materials.
• Support the sales enablement team in delivering internal technical training for new products and services.
• Demonstrated experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solution Architect in intricate enterprise environments.
• Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven experience in managing customer relationships at both technical and business levels.
• Skilled in presenting solutions and demonstrations to both small and large audiences, both virtually and in-person.
• Familiarity with collaborating with internal product/software teams, including technical support, product management, and engineering, to enhance documentation, enablement, and product features for improved customer experiences.
• Background in application code development and a clear understanding of the daily challenges faced by developers.
• Proficient in resolving technical issues and translating customer experiences into actionable feedback for engineering teams.
• Experience in creating collateral that supports customers in adopting best practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, DevOps, and modern application architectures.
• Experience with Docker, container ecosystems, or related technologies is highly preferred.
• Background in Development, Agentic AI development, Software Development Lifecycle, and/or Software Supply Chain Security is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in English is a must.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% as a senior representative of Docker to prospective clients, customers, and technical alliance partners.
