Staff Software Engineer – Privileged Access Management, Password Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive technical vision and architectural choices for high-throughput, highly available microservices and multi-platform solutions.

• Act as the main technical point of reference across various engineering teams.

• Set engineering standards, address intricate system trade-offs, and provide mentorship to senior engineers.

• Develop and present technical proposals, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and RFCs to executive leadership, Product, and Infrastructure stakeholders.

• Convert business goals into scalable technical roadmaps while managing velocity, technical debt, and system stability.

• Design and produce high-performance production code utilizing C#, .NET, Go, TypeScript, and gRPC.

• Create and implement enterprise PAM/IDAM architectures using CyberArk, BeyondTrust, and HashiCorp Vault.

• Execute SCIM integrations that uphold Zero Trust and Least Privilege principles.

• Outline data architecture across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DocumentDB platforms.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on a long-term, cost-effective infrastructure strategy.

• Engage in incident management, contribute to Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs), and facilitate prompt incident resolution.

• Advocate for deployment automation across Origin CI, Kargo, and WoK.

• Ensure comprehensive testing including unit, functional, Playwright E2E, performance, scalability, and reliability assessments.

• Oversee specification-driven AI development utilizing the BMAD framework, Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, and reusable skill libraries.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in software development.

• Demonstrated success as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or Lead Architect within enterprise product settings.

• Proven history of making architectural decisions at the company level.

• Experience in presenting complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Background in leading multi-team initiatives.

• Advanced skills in C#, .NET (ABP Framework), Go, gRPC, TypeScript, and database engineering.

• Practical expertise in Privileged Access Management (PAM), SCIM, AWS/GCP cloud platforms, and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in continuous delivery pipelines, PSR non-functional testing, and automated E2E testing frameworks like Playwright.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English.

• Must reside in and be authorized to work in India.

• Capability to participate in on-call shifts.
