• Propel localization workstreams to achieve production reliability on actual hardware at functioning airports.
• Engage in sensor integration, performance optimization, regression testing, and implementation in new operating environments.
• Design and develop online validation monitoring for localization integrity and cross-sensor consistency during live missions.
• Identify localization drift and incorporate validation within the vehicle’s safety architecture.
• Create tools for diagnostics, health logging, and post-mission analysis.
• Participate in regression, validation, and release-gating strategies for localization updates deployed at active airports.
• Deploy, assess, and refine using data from real autonomous operations.
• Influence the team's technical trajectory and collaborate across perception, planning, and platform interfaces.
• Assist in advancing autonomous ground operations from supervised to driverless operation.
• 8+ years of experience in robotics or autonomous vehicles, with a proven history of managing localization or state-estimation systems through production deployment on real hardware.
• Extensive practical knowledge in multi-sensor fusion and state estimation involving LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, and cameras.
• Proven technical leadership, guiding architecture across teams and establishing direction.
