Staff Software Engineer – Firefox Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Create enhanced administration and monitoring tools to elevate the usability and security of Firefox in large-scale deployments.

• Enhance Firefox capabilities through improved integration with remote services.

• Evaluate work supporting the team and product roadmap, providing insightful recommendations for prioritization.

• Collaborate with a geographically dispersed development team.

• Offer technical leadership, foster cross-team relationships, and assist the team in achieving their objectives.

• Support services and infrastructure for Firefox Enterprise products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in software development.

• Proven experience in developing robust services that adhere to modern best practices.

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including modularity, abstraction, data structures, and algorithms.

• Proficiency in Rust and JavaScript programming languages.

• Solid understanding of database systems, including SQL and/or non-relational databases.

• Exceptional communication skills and effective participation in a distributed team environment.

• Pragmatic approach to advancing work within specific timelines, considering trade-offs and safeguards when implementing new functionalities.

• A genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn new concepts.
