Staff Software Engineer – Consumer Revenue

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive the expansion of current revenue channels while establishing a foundation for new monetization avenues within Nitro, Shop, Server Boosting, and User Identity.

• Take ownership of intricate projects from start to finish by collaborating with Product teams, refining project requirements, drafting technical specifications, and partnering with Design.

• Work alongside Staff Engineers and other organizational collaborators to ensure technical consistency across systems, products, and long-term strategic objectives.

• Provide guidance to leadership on technical matters concerning engineering excellence and impactful initiatives.

• Collaborate on strategic initiatives to enhance the organization's development and operational processes.

• Lead full-stack engineering efforts across Web, Android, and iOS platforms.

• Establish the technical standards for the team and assist engineers in meeting those standards.

• Quickly prototype new features and gather insights through experimentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proven history of leading significant initiatives from conception to launch with impactful results beyond the immediate team.

• Expertise in full-stack development.

• Proficient in React/React Native.

• Strong understanding of Python for backend development.

• Experience with React and TypeScript in web development.

• Familiarity with React Native, along with some experience in Kotlin, Objective-C, and Swift for mobile development.

• Demonstrated technical leadership with the capability to convert ambiguous objectives into actionable roadmaps.

• An ownership mentality with a comfort level in navigating autonomy and uncertainty.

• Knowledge of React performance optimization and client-server performance enhancements.

• A growth-oriented mindset.

• Bonus: Experience in revenue generation, product monetization, or user engagement systems.
