Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive product and service integration architecture.

• Prioritize and manage the development efforts necessary to meet product feature requests promptly.

• Define and design architectural solutions in collaboration with enterprise architects and the Manager of Software Engineering to develop scalable and robust web applications.

• Create detailed technical specifications and comprehensive test plans.

• Consistently write, translate, and develop automation scripts for testing, maintaining, and monitoring solutions.

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to facilitate the transition of software into a production environment.

• Lead the team responsible for supporting and enhancing the code base for company administrative and reporting tools.

• Spearhead the implementation of the full stack web experience and the technical vision in conjunction with UX/UI.

• Identify and address performance and scalability challenges.

• Mentor, coach, and train a team of full stack developers.

• Execute other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise web development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing software development teams.

• Strong understanding of the enterprise technology stack.

• Proven ability to implement technology solutions to solve business challenges.

• Extensive experience in SQL performance tuning.

• Hands-on experience across all layers of the development stack, including Java EE for the backend and Angular for the frontend.

• Ability to effectively communicate and explain technical solutions to stakeholders.
