Staff Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee System Design deliverables throughout the team

• Create and deploy innovative software solutions and APIs with a focus on scalability, security, and performance

• Work in conjunction with Product and Data Science teams to identify opportunities and provide seamless customer experiences

• Guide and mentor mid-to-senior-level engineers

• Spearhead initiatives to ensure software quality, scalability, and robustness

• Drive projects that enhance efficiency, improve system performance, and boost customer satisfaction

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of practical experience in designing, implementing, and supporting highly available and high-performance distributed systems

• Demonstrated success in developing public-facing consumer-grade APIs

• Experience in managing API versioning, deprecation, and consumption-based rate limiting

• Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, Kotlin, or similar modern backend languages, as well as React and AWS

• Strong understanding of software design principles, scalability, and system architecture

• Emphasis on Domain-Driven Design

• Extensive experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools

• Knowledge of agentic workflows, building harnesses, and organizing codebases for agents

• Daily active use of agentic coding tools, with a considered opinion on their appropriate application and team standards
