Staff Psychiatrist, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver psychiatric care via telehealth for various conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations that include mental health history, medical history, diagnostic assessments, and risk evaluations.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that incorporate medication management and brief psychotherapy when suitable.

• Offer compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care.

• Apply evidence-based clinical guidelines and adhere to responsible prescribing practices.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists through consultations and case assessments.

• Effectively utilize technology and operational systems to ensure dependable telehealth services.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO in psychiatry.

• Valid, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Current DEA individual practitioner registration as per application requirements.

• Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry.

• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Comfort in providing remote care and utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Dedication to patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

• Ability to offer full-time or part-time telehealth services.
