Staff Psychiatrist, MD or DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver psychiatric care via telehealth for various conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including assessments of mental health and medical history, diagnostic evaluation, and risk assessment.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate medication management and brief psychotherapy as needed.

• Offer compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care.

• Apply evidence-based clinical guidelines and responsible prescribing practices.

• Collaborate with fellow psychiatrists through consultations and case reviews.

• Utilize technology and operational systems efficiently to provide dependable telehealth services.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO psychiatrist.

• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Current DEA individual practitioner registration.

• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.

• Proficient clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management abilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable providing care remotely and familiar with electronic health record systems.
