Staff Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects from the point of customer purchase order until completion, managing all stages including design, construction, and deployment.

• Propel projects to satisfy the complete range of customer contractual obligations.

• Collaborate effectively throughout the organization, working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to address issues and keep project momentum going.

• Take ownership of the project Management of Change (MoC) and Request for Information (RFI) processes.

• Administer detailed project schedules and align key milestones related to engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

• Monitor project budgets and assess risks to guide decision-making and tradeoffs.

• Provide project updates, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.

• Assess and evaluate complex project challenges, crafting innovative solutions that reduce impacts on project timelines and costs.

• Conduct routine visits to fabricators during the fabrication phase and site visits during construction and commissioning to evaluate progress and collaborate with responsible teams to resolve issues.

• Onboard and manage external resources to achieve project management goals.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience as a Project Manager.

• Proven experience leading plant projects in petrochemical refining, renewable energy, gas processing, or power systems throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Experience acting as the primary point of contact with customers for major equipment or plant projects.

• Knowledge of EU project execution standards and best practices.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish fluency is preferred.

• Experience executing projects in Spain is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time during critical project phases.
